Filmiamo has been proud to partner with JetBlue and the JetBlue Foundation to highlight the Fly Like a Girl campaign since 2017; a campaign in which young female students are shown that there is a space for them in the aviation industry.
The video highlights a day at Long Beach Airport in which girls of all ages were invited to learn about the aviation industry and see people who look like them, running various aspects of the airline. On the ground, our videographer followed the group as they toured the airport, met pilots and got to sit in the cockpit of an A320. Filmiamo conducted interviews with students and JetBlue Crewmembers in order to tell the story of the experience.
Following the event, Filmiamo worked directly with the JetBlue Foundation team to edit the video and showcase the event.
The video won the PR News CSR & Nonprofit Award for Best Video Initiative in 2019.
