Welcome to the Polar Bear Capital of the World

Production Story

After connecting through Instagram, Filmiamo created this video as an exchange of services for going out on a 3-day polar bear tour in Churchill, Canada - "The Polar Bear Capital of the World."

Filmiamo sent two videographers to the remote town of Churchill on the Hudson Bay to capture the annual migration of the polar bears. Churchill is famous for the fact that the polar bears often come into the center of town as they are navigating toward the ice, so safety was of the upmost importance.

While filming, the crew was diligent to protect ourselves as well as the bears' habitat and environment. We worked constantly and directly with local guides to ensure this.

Following filming on location, Filmiamo produced a short highlight video and processed still photos for use on social media and website by Beyond Boreal Tours.
