Soaring Valor is a program created and run by the Gary Sinise Foundation, focused on bringing WWII veterans and their guardians to the National World War II Museum in New Orleans. High school students accompany the veterans, providing them with the unique opportunity to hear their veteran's experiences first hand while wandering the musuem and sharing together in the experience.
Filmiamo joined the trip from the start, participating in the welcome dinner and flying to New Orleans with the veterans, guardians and students. While there, the participants enjoy meals, performances, tours of the museum, and have time to connect with other veterans and participants. Filmiamo captured the stories of students who got to hear WWII stories first hand.
Filmiamo captured interviews in the hotel, telling the story of the trip, and complimenting the visuals captured throughout the day. Coupled with emotional music, the team created a powerful recap video.
The final video was used on American Airline's social media and LinkedIn profiles, and a longer version was created to be given to Keller High School and its students
