One thing American Airlines does outside of flying airplanes - is builds playgrounds in various communities throughout the country and now, the continent. For the first time, in February 2023, American Airlines built a playground internationally.
Often times, the Filmiamo team is asked to seamlessly assimilate with a team to capture a story. In this case, the team was a group of 20+ American Airlines employees who volunteered their time to build a playground in an underprivileged community in Honduras, in partnership with Honduras Compassion Partners.
Filmiamo flew down to Honduras alongside the team, and followed along while the team tore down a previous playground and rebuilt an entire playground for the community over the course of a few days. Most members of the team had not met each other prior to the trip but by the end, worked together like they had been together for years. We had the pleasure of witnessing this bond - and were honored to capture it.
Filmiamo combined video and drone footage, with interviews captured onsite, to tell this compelling story.
